Soft Launch: July 19, 20, and 21
We are thrilled to announce the addition of Karting to our growing list of Motorsports experiences! Mark your calendars for our soft launch on July 19, 20, and 21, where you can be among the first to experience the excitement of go-karting on our unique track. As the only karting track in British Columbia to feature banked turns, we promise a driving experience like no other. Whether you're a seasoned racer or a first-time driver, our track offers a thrilling challenge for everyone.
Location: 2070 Carmi Rd – The Penticton Speedway
No Online Booking – First Come, First Serve
For our soft launch, we're operating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Arrive early to secure your spot and enjoy a day full of high-speed fun and adventure. Since we currently do not have an online booking system, this is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the karting experience and test out our state-of-the-art karts.
Operation times for each day are 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
1 race = $30
2 race = $55
3 race = $80
4 race = $100
5 race = $110

The illuminated track creates a magical atmosphere, enhancing the excitement and offering a unique go-karting experience. Karting Racing Requirements & Rules
Safety is our top priority at Penticton Speedway. Please review our comprehensive racing requirements and rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all drivers:
All children under 19 years of age require a parent or guardian to sign our waiver.
All drivers must sign the waiver.
All drivers must view the Safety and Operation Video or attend the Safety and Operation Orientation hosted by The Penticton Speedway Karting Safety Officer prior to entering a kart.
All children under the age of 13 must register for and complete the Rookie Racer course.
All participants must wear closed-toe shoes (NO sandals or flip-flops).
Zero tolerance for drug or alcohol use.
Zero tolerance for belligerent, rude, or inconsiderate behavior towards fellow participants or Penticton Speedway staff.
All drivers must be a minimum of 52” tall.
260 pounds or 116 kilograms weight limit.
All drivers must be able to safely fit the seats provided and exit the karts in an efficient and safe manner regardless of weight or age.
Any drivers with physical or mental challenges or disabilities that may impact their ability to keep themselves and other drivers safe must check in with the head marshal before driving the kart. We reserve the right to require the written opinion of a clinician or professional caregiver if the marshal is concerned over safety matters.
Racing Rules:
No contact with other karts, trackside barriers, or anything else.
No spinning – karts must remain moving and pointed in the correct direction of travel.
No drifting – Penticton Speedway is a racing experience, not a drifting experience.
No antisocial or unsportsmanlike behavior towards other drivers, staff, or officials.
Failure to comply with the established rules will result in your session being cut short. Failure to comply a second time will result in forfeiture of any further sessions. No refunds will be made in this situation.
